Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for client sites in Davenport, IA. Under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager, you will protect assets, personnel, customers and visitors, and ensure compliance with post orders.

Key duties include observing and reporting signs of crime, preparing daily reports, completing patrols, controlling access, and notifying authorities in emergencies. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the client.

Responsibilities

• Protect client interests within the facility and safeguard lives and property.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare and submit daily reports to the proper contacts.
• Complete patrols as required by post orders.
• Monitor and control access to property per post orders.
• Notify authorities in emergencies as outlined in post orders.
• Report violations of policy and laws per Employee Handbook.

Job description

This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.

Job Duties:

• 1. Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
• 2. Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• 3. Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.
• 4. Complete patrols as required by post orders
• 5. Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
• 6. Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
• 7. Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.

• 3. There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post.
