St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for our Boston Regional Office in Andover, MA.

This part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $20 per hour with two open shifts to cover Thursday through Sunday from 7:00am–3:00pm (36 hours) and Saturday/Sunday 11:00pm–7:00am (16 hours). The role requires a dependable individual with a HS diploma or GED, strong communication and observational skills, and the ability to maintain calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Military or law enforcement background is a plus.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Basic to moderate computer/technical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong observational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through patrols (foot and/or vehicle) and dispatch/command center duties.
• Control access points and verify visitors.
• Provide front desk and customer service support.
• Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or security risks.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies (medical, fire, etc.).
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports.

Position Overview

• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (30–90 minutes)

• May include patrol, dispatch, and front desk responsibilities
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
