Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking licensed unarmed security officers to join our team in Largo, FL. You will perform patrols, deter crime, and report security incidents while upholding high customer service standards.

Pay rate is $15.00/hour, paid weekly. Requirements include an Unarmed Security License (D), 21+, ability to stand for long periods, a clean driving record, and reliable transport.

• Sound communication skills and professional presentation are necessary.
• Ability to work as a team member and solo, with a flexible roster.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
• Execute control procedures when necessary.
• Operate emergency equipment as required.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
• Investigate breaches of property.

Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation, IPSC is recruiting LICENSED Unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team in Largo.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour, paid every week.

Shift:

10am-11:30pm

12.5 hr. shifts

Requirements:

• Must have Unarmed Security License (D license)
• Must be 21+
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform routine foot patrols
• Must have a clean driving record

You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills, Professional presentation, Ability to work as a team member and solo
• Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week
• Reliable transport
• Active cellphone

Physical and Mental Job Requirements

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances. A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.), A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency. A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work.
