THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

About the Role

The Unarmed Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of people, property, and assets at assigned client locations. This position requires vigilant monitoring of premises to help prevent theft, unauthorized access, disturbances, and other security concerns while maintaining a safe and professional environment for employees, visitors, clients, and the public.

The Unarmed Security Guard will respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies while following company policies, client post orders, and applicable laws and regulations. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, reliability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Ultimately, the Unarmed Security Guard serves as a visible security presence and deterrent while supporting the safety and security objectives of Elite Services Group-C, LLC and its clients.

Minimum Qualifications

Must meet all applicable state and/or local licensing and registration requirements for unarmed security personnel.

Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

Ability to meet all client-specific and contract-specific employment requirements.

Strong understanding of basic security operations, access control, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and members of the public.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the assigned position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as an unarmed security guard, security officer, or in a related security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or customer-service position.

Current state-issued security guard license or certification, where applicable.

Certification in First Aid, CPR, AED, or other emergency-response training.

Familiarity with surveillance systems, access-control systems, and security reporting procedures.

Strong communication, customer-service, conflict-resolution, and de-escalation skills.

Ability to work flexible schedules, which may include days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Enforce company policies, client requirements, and site-specific post orders while maintaining professional interactions with employees, visitors, contractors, and the public.

Assist with emergency procedures, evacuations, and other safety-related activities as directed.

Participate in required training and maintain applicable licenses, certifications, and credentials.

Perform additional security-related duties as required by the assigned contract or client location.

Skills

Successful Unarmed Security Guards must demonstrate strong observation, situational awareness, communication, and decision-making skills. Guards must be able to identify potential security concerns, follow established procedures, document incidents accurately, and respond appropriately to changing situations.

Strong interpersonal, customer-service, conflict-resolution, and de-escalation skills are essential, as security personnel routinely interact with clients, employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public.

Familiarity with security technology, emergency-response procedures, access control, and incident reporting is preferred.
