Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a government utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact emergency services as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to site personnel and leadership.
