Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL. Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and background check.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations calmly and using site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, suspicious activity, equipment issues, or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
