Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for all shifts in Naperville, IL. You will guard retail premises, escort visitors, log data, and respond to alarms while upholding the highest ethical standards.

This role is unarmed; required are a High School diploma or GED, State Security Officer License, and a valid driver’s license. Shifts vary; benefits include medical, life, dental, and a 401K/403b plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State Security Officer License required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Technical training or college education in related field preferred.
• Previous security officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard in a retail setting, direct visitors, issue access badges and provide escorts.
• Log visitor data and basic reports in the security system.
• Conduct foot patrols per post orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per post orders.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain PPE and follow PPE policies.
• Follow client site duties as outlined in post-orders.
• Work extra hours to fill open shifts as needed.
• Adhere to ethical conduct and company policies.
• Follow attendance expectations.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
