Job summary

CLG & Associates LLC in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Unarmed) to join our team. You will monitor entrances, patrol the campus, direct traffic, and coordinate with local responders to keep people and buildings safe.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of security experience, a valid Maryland security guard card, and a valid driver's license; reliable transportation and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of security experience.
• Must have Maryland Security Guard Card.
• Must have valid Maryland driver’s license.
• Certified copy of Driver's License required.
• Retired law enforcement preferred.
• Background check and drug testing required.
• Flexible shift hours; part-time with weekdays and weekends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and students.
• Patrol campus with assigned security vehicle to secure the premises.
• Direct traffic.
• Coordinate with emergency responders when needed.
• Write reports of unusual activities and events.
• Communicate with staff and management as needed.

Security Officer (Unarmed) Duties and Responsibilities may include:

• Monitor and Authorize Entrance and Departure of Employees, Visitors, and Students.
• Patrol Campus with assigned Security Vehicle to ensure Employees, Students and Building are Secured.
• Direct Traffic
• Contact Emergency Responders, such as Police, Fire Department, and/or Ambulance Personnel, as Needed.
• Writes Reports of Unusual Activities and Events.
• Communicate with Staff and Management as Needed.

Security Officer Qualifications:

• Retired Law Enforcement Preferred.
• Experienced Security Officer Preferred.
• Applicant must provide a certified copy of Driver's License
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card.
• Seeking motivated individuals with a minimum of Five (5) years of Security Experience.
• Minimum of Five (5) years of Customer Service experience preferred
• Must Be 23 years old and older
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• All applicants are subject to a Background Check and Drug Testing
• Applicants must have reliable transportation
• Hours: Flexible Shift Work
• Basic writing and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are required
