Location is West Palm Beach, FL. Full-time position with pay $26.00–$27.32 per hour, plus benefits. You will respond to emergencies, coordinate the team, provide medical care, and document incidents with compliance to protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; licensed paramedic certification required.
• Proven experience as a paramedic with strong medical knowledge.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good stamina and adaptability for a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and devices used in pre-hospital care.

Responsibilities

• Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions.
• Lead and coordinate the team’s response to emergencies.
• Evaluate patient condition and perform preliminary diagnoses at the scene.
• Administer pre-hospital treatments including first aid, CPR, injections, and oxygen.
• Stabilize patients using medical equipment and monitor during transport.
• Collaborate with police, fire units, doctors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare thorough incident reports following protocols and guidelines.
• Stay updated on new treatment procedures through ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities

As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering immediate care to those in need. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating ambulance equipment and responding to radio transmissions.
• Leading and coordinating the team's response to emergencies.
• Evaluating the patient's condition at the scene and conducting a preliminary diagnosis.
• Administering a range of pre-hospital treatments, including first aid, CPR, injections, oxygen, and, if necessary, surgical procedures.
• Using state‑of‑the‑art medical equipment and tools to stabilize patients and provide immediate treatment.
• Monitoring the patient's condition during transport to the hospital.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders, including the police, firefighting unit, doctors, and more.
• Writing and submitting thorough and accurate incident reports.
• Adhering to established medical protocols, legal guidelines, and health and safety standards.
• Staying updated on the latest treatment and medical procedures through ongoing training.

Skills Required

• Proven experience as a paramedic.
• A solid understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and medications.

• An excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices.

• A high school diploma is required, with a Licensed Paramedic certification.

Licensing

• Possess valid Florida Class D License
• Possess a valid Florida Paramedic License
• Possess valid Driver’s License

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
• Ability to pass a mental health assessment
• Reliable transportation

• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
