Job summary

Allied Universal in Spokane, WA is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver to protect and serve clients at manufacturing and industrial sites. You will drive between locations, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a visible, courteous presence while reporting observations to site leadership.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles but here unarmed), high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and document entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site leadership.
