Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Willing to work in or near a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required for state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site policies and emergencies as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, giving directions while staying professional.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and report concerns per site procedures.
