Job summary

Security Engineers is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the 3rd shift in Marysville, OH, to help maintain safe client environments and support CTPAT procedures. The role requires patrolling, access control, and accurate reporting as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet site-specific background, licensing, training, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas, monitor access points and surveillance systems, and report safety or security concerns.
• Verify IDs, credentials, visitors, vendors, transportation partners, seals, trailers, and shipping documentation as required.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to Post Orders and site protocols.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, inspection records, and other required documentation.
• Enforce SEI, client, and applicable CTPAT-related policies, including access control, visitor procedures, restricted areas, cargo security, smoking, loitering, and parking.
• Support cargo, trailer, container, vehicle, and facility security inspections, including seal-control and chain-of-custody procedures.
