Job summary

University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This role assists in the development, administration and supervision of the athletic training program as designated by the associate athletic director for sports medicine.

It also helps coordinate and execute all primary and secondary insurance claims for student athletes’ injuries and treatment. Final title and salary will be determined by education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health/physical education or athletic training is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Collegiate-level athletic training experience is strongly preferred.
• National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Certified is required.
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
