Job summary

Roshal Health in Washington, MO is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our ER imaging team, offering full-time or PRN shifts across hospital and free-standing settings.

The role involves a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, OB & vascular imaging, with emphasis on patient care and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (AB or OB preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Lead with empathy: Communicate compassionately & professionally with patients.
• Ensure equipment and area cleanliness and upkeep.
• Communicate professionally & effectively with hospital staff & colleagues.
• Demonstrate proficiency with diagnostic equipment and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Ultrasound Technologist Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
• Valid Driver’s License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications
