Job summary

Roshal Health in Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to join our ER imaging team on a PRN basis. You will perform ultrasound studies across general abdominal, OB, and vascular exams in hospital and free-standing facilities, with a strong focus on patient care.

Requirements include ARDMS RDMS certification, 1 year post-graduate ultrasound experience, BLS/CPR, valid driver’s license, ability to work independently, and compliance with safety and health standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
• Current ARDMS RDMS certification
• Valid Driver's License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Pass all health requirements including drug screen & background check
• Comfort with general abdominal, OB & vascular scans

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies per accepted protocols
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly to work-related calls
• Contact facility with estimated arrival time and arrive within prescribed timeframe
• Follow safety standards in operating equipment
• Maintain work areas in client facilities
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files
• Document work processes and perform other duties as assigned
