Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a travel contract in Scottsbluff, NE. This 13-week assignment offers on-site work with potential for extension and competitive pay.

You will perform general and vascular ultrasound exams, operate equipment, position patients, document results in EPIC EMR, and participate in holiday coverage.

RDMS and RVT certifications are required within 18 months, BLS is required, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• RDMS and RVT certification required within 18 months.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with General and Vascular Ultrasound; 1 year preferred.
• Willing to float to other units or departments.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Document patient information and findings in EPIC EMR.
• Maintain infection-control and patient-safety practices.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Be flexible to float to other departments as needed.
• Work day shifts (4×10 hours) and holiday coverage.
• Maintain equipment and report issues when necessary.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Ultrasound Technologist – Travel Contract. This is a 13 Weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Scottsbluff, NE(Onsite).

Pay Range: $43 - $43.85/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,246.00
• Weekly Gross Pay: $3,000.00/week*
• Subject to completion of scheduled hours
• Shift
• Day shift - 4x10
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for ultrasound procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Follow established protocols for abdominal, OB, small-parts, and vascular studies, as applicable.
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness before submitting them for interpretation.
• Document patient information, procedures, and findings accurately in the EPIC EMR.
• Maintain proper infection-control and patient-safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain equipment and report technical issues when necessary.
• Be flexible to float to other departments or patient-care areas based on staffing and operational needs.
• Work assigned day shifts (4×10 hours) and participate in required holiday coverage.
• Maintain required certifications, including RDMS, RVT, and BLS.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• RDMS and RVT certification required within 18 months
• BLS certification required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with General and Vascular Ultrasound
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Candidates with less than 1 year of experience may be considered
• Must be willing to float to other units/departments or patient-care areas based on staffing needs
• Holiday coverage is required
