Longstreet Clinic, incorporated in Georgia, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform advanced obstetric exams for high-risk pregnancies. You will provide high-quality images and assist with procedures under maternal-fetal medicine physicians.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS OB/GYN certification, have 2–3 years obstetric ultrasound experience, and are proficient with PACS/EMR; BLS is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• Current BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire
• 2–3 years obstetric ultrasound experience, preferably in high-risk/perinatal settings

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed obstetric ultrasound exams including fetal anatomy scans, biophysical profiles, growth assessments, and Doppler studies
• Assist with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling under ultrasound guidance
• Ensure accurate documentation and image archiving in PACS and EMR systems
• Review and assess image quality before submission for physician interpretation
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures clearly
• Monitor patient condition during exams and report concerns to clinical staff
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly
• Follow infection control protocols including cleaning and disinfecting transducers
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, nurses, and genetic counselors; communicate effectively regarding patient status, exam findings, and workflow needs

## **About the Role:**# **Job Summary**The Ultrasound Technologist in a perinatology clinic performs specialized obstetric ultrasound examinations for patients with high-risk pregnancies. This role supports maternal-fetal medicine physicians by providing high-quality diagnostic images and assisting with procedures, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.# **Minimum Job Qualifications*** **Licensure or other certifications:** ARDMS certification in OB/GYN.
