RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Los Angeles to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and support radiologists in ultrasound-guided procedures. You will ensure patient comfort, adhere to regulatory requirements, and safeguard patient data.

The role emphasizes professional communication and teamwork in a fast-paced imaging center. The ideal candidate has completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, passed SPI, and holds ARDMS certification or registry eligibility,

Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist program completion with diploma.
• SPI exam passed.
• ARDMS certification or registry eligibility preferred; BLS certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand methods to generate ultrasound data and the operation of the instruments used to detect and display acoustic information.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and address discomfort or issues.
• Safeguard patient privacy, property, and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

You Will

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient\'s well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma
• Passed SPI exam
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred
• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
