Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a permanent, full-time night shift role in South Carolina.

The position involves performing ultrasound imaging across general, vascular, and obstetric settings, and supporting physicians during invasive procedures. The role requires an Associate degree in Radiography or Sonography from a CAAHEP accredited program, ARDMS registry eligibility, and BLS certification within 90 days.

• Associate degree in Radiography or Sonography from a CAAHEP approved school of Ultrasound.
• ARDMS registry eligibility required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and analyzes quality Ultrasound images in general, vascular, and obstetric settings.
• Assists and guides physicians with invasive/surgical procedures.
• Ensures accurate transfer, documentation, and storage of information per regulating bodies.
• Performs equipment quality control operations and reports deficiencies.

Job Duties:

• Obtains and analyzes quality Ultrasound images in the general, vascular, and obstetric settings to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states.
• Assists and guides physicians with invasive/surgical procedures.
• Ensures all information is transferred, documented, and stored appropriately as required by regulating and accrediting bodies.
• Performs required equipment quality control operations and reports deficiencies to appropriate personnel.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of Associate degree in Radiography or Sonography from CAAHEP approved school of Ultrasound.
• Registry eligible by ARDMS.
• BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment)
