Job summary

Our client, a 50+ bed healthcare facility near Westover in North Central VA, seeks an Ultrasound Tech to join their team. You will work in concert with radiologists to obtain high quality ultrasound images and provide compassionate patient care.

Evening shift (3-11) and a night shift Mon-Thurs are available; new grads are not accepted. ARDMS or ARRT certification is required within the first year, and an Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is preferred.

• 1 year experience in sonography required.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification must be obtained within first year.
• Evening and night shift availability; no new grads.

JOB SUMMARY

Work in concert with the radiologists to obtain high quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. Must meet the education requirement for diagnostic medical ultrasound certification with ARDMS or ARRT.

Experience:

1 year experience in sonography required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

Licensure:

ARDMS certified within first year of employment required
