Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, along with related clerical and service duties.
2. Conduct routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintain exam suites.
3. Review patient clinical history and related reports/documentation.
4. Instruct patients regarding exam procedures and preparations.
5. Perform related clerical duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an AMA-accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
2. Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
3. Maintain all continuing education credits and licensure during employment.
4. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, maintained during employment.
5. Experience with general and vascular ultrasounds.
6. Ability to perform ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adults, and geriatrics, adhering to department guidelines.
7. Physical health sufficient to meet ergonomic standards and demands of the position.
