Job summary

Roshal Health in Richmond, KY is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for ER-focused imaging in a fast-paced hospital and free-standing settings. The role offers PRN or full-time engagement with patient-centered imaging and opportunities across the national network.

The candidate should have ARDMS RDMS (Ab or OB preferred), a valid driver's license, and BLS/CPR certification, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic ER environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS RDMS certification – Abdomen or OB preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and in ER environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Lead with empathy and communicate compassionately with patients.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the work area.
• Communicate professionally with hospital staff and colleagues.
• Proficiency with necessary diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Ultrasound Technologist Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
• Valid Driver’s License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications
