Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist II PRN to join the Radiology Ultrasound Services team in Burleson, TX. This role involves variable shifts with on-call rotation, supporting outpatient imaging and pediatric to geriatric patients.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT and/or ARDMS certifications, BCLS required, and AMA-accredited ultrasound training; hospital radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of AMA approved/accredited Ultrasound Program is preferred.
• Associate Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian before and during exam.
• Image the correct anatomical area and pathology per protocols.
• Perform complex procedures including age-related criteria and developmental considerations.
• Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Send and transfer images to PACS accurately.
• Ensure laser images from modality or PACS are printed as needed.
• Operate, care for and maintain ultrasound equipment.
