Applicants should have completed an ultrasound program and be RDMS-certified or within one year of registry, with BLS within 30 days of start. This PRN position is based at our Loudoun County facility.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of approved program in Ultrasound Technology.
  • (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or completion of registry within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform established ultrasound procedures per policy and safety guidelines.
  • Consider age-related factors in patient care from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Observe universal precautions and maintain patient safety at all times.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to improve patient care.
  • Perform related duties as required by the department.
