UNC Lenoir Health Care in North Carolina seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams with independent judgment and provide high-quality images for radiologist interpretations. You will communicate technical impressions and deliver compassionate patient care onsite in the Ultrasound department.
Requirements include graduation from an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program or an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, plus clinical rotation or 1 year ultrasound

Performs a variety of ultrasound exams using independent judgment and knowledge of ultrasonography principals. Assists Radiologist with diagnostic interpretations by providing high quality images and communicating technical impressions. Exceeds the highest standard of care and respect for all customers in the Radiology department.
To provide patients and their family ranging from neonatal to geriatrics with the highest quality of care and respect through communication. Projects a positive image of the Radiology department and the hospital. Ensures good communication skills with healthcare team members and physicians remaining helpful, courteous and professional at all times.
