Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to operate ultrasound imaging equipment and produce diagnostic images under Radiologist supervision. The role requires explaining procedures, preparing exams, and maintaining patient records as part of a broader imaging team.

Ideal candidates will have completed formal radiology training with 6–12 months of post-registry RDMS/ARDMS certification preferred and a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year post registry preferred RDMS (ARDMS) certification.

Job Description Ultrasound Techs are responsible for the following:

Qualifications for this position include:

• Completion of a formal training program.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of post registry preferred RDMS (ARDMS) certification

This position may be eligible for conversion to a Trainee role, subject to the team’s capacity and availability of resources to support cross‑training. Trainee opportunities are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis. Individuals accepted into a Trainee role must sign an on‑the‑job training agreement.

All required certifications must be obtained in accordance with the department’s training program requirements; failure to meet these requirements may result in termination.

Salary Range The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent)), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.)
