Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality diagnostic scans and proper recording. Per diem shifts and variable scheduling support patient care in the community served by the Blue Water Area.

Affiliated with Prime Healthcare, the center prides itself on top safety and patient care standards, and invites skilled technologists with ARDMS/ARRT certification and BCLS to join the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording.
• Processing and transmission of images to PACS.
