Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and small parts ultrasound procedures with high-quality imaging.
• Review physician orders and patient history prior to exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain equipment and adherence to infection control procedures.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records in EMR systems.

Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal,
• obstetric, vascular, and small parts
• Ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and
• safety
• Review and verify physician orders and patient history prior to
• exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure
• accurate diagnosis
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control procedures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in EMR systems

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Required ARDMS RVT certification or ARRT Sonography, additional
• specialties certifications a plus (OB/GYN, Abdomen, etc.)
• Current BLS certification
