Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, assist physicians, and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnosis under supervision.

The role requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program or ARDMS-qualifying experience, ARDMS certification within a year of hire, and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, with a minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Job description

Role Overview: Performs diagnostic medical sonographic exams, assists physicians as needed, and performs related duties under supervision.

  • Responsibilities: Conducts ultrasound procedures, supports clinical staff, and ensures quality imaging for diagnosis.
  • Qualifications: Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program or relevant experience qualifying for ARDMS certification. Certified by ARDMS within one year of hire. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. At least 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience.
  • Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of sonographic techniques, patient care, and equipment operation. Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Duties: Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, assist physicians, and uphold safety and quality standards in a clinical environment.
