Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts exams and support the radiologist during invasive procedures. You will make clinical judgments based on referrals, records, patient interviews and assessments.

The ideal candidate has completed an ultrasound training program and meets ARDMS eligibility, with BLS certification and at least one year of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Ultrasound training program and eligibility to take ARDMS registry examination.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARDMS eligibility/registration.
• Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of experience as an ultrasound technologist or intern.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts ultrasound examinations.
• Assist radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Make clinical judgments based on referring physician information, medical records, patient interview and assessments.
