Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians. You will perform ultrasound exams, operate equipment, and assist radiologists in invasive procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualificações

• Certified by ARDMS or ARRT (S) in AB or OB/GYN.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive ultrasound program.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams with nursing, radiologists, and referring physicians.
• Perform ultrasound exams per departmental protocols and standards.
• Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently.
• Assist Radiologist in invasive procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and manage exam charges in the system.
• Maintain a neat, stocked work area and adhere to departmental rules.
