OhioHealth Corporation is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to independently perform ultrasound examinations and collaborate with radiologists to reach accurate diagnoses. Qualified candidates should have 1-2 years of ultrasound training, ARDMS/ARRT/BLS credentials, and experience with abdominal or OB/GYN ultrasound.

Qualifications

• 1-2 yrs ultrasound training from an accredited training program.
• Must have passed the ARDMS.
• Must have passed the abdominal or OB/GYN and physics/instrumentation.
• 1-2 yrs previous ultrasound experience (clinical training acceptable).
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs 60% of ultrasound examinations.
• Interprets information and relates findings to radiologist for diagnosis.
• Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures.
• Gives preliminary ultrasound results to physicians.
• Teaches imaging students and residents.
• Maintains equipment, stocks supplies and performs quality control.
