UNC Health in Hendersonville, NC is seeking an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist to operate ultrasound equipment, perform procedures, and acquire high-quality diagnostic data. You will interview patients, prepare them, and ensure safe, effective imaging under minimal supervision.
The role requires ARDMS registration, an Associate’s degree or equivalent, and at least five years in clinical imaging with three in ultrasound.

Using ultrasound / sonography equipment and standards, the Ultrasound Imaging Technologist prepares and performs procedures and tests used to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. By interviewing and preparing patients with in-depth understanding of the equipment and procedures, this role ensures effective, safe use of this equipment and drives optimal care outcomes. As an experienced imaging technologist, this team member will work under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment in the performance of their role.
Schedule: 3x12s Either Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
