Job summary

Memorial Health in Springfield, IL seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures using independent judgment. Schedule PRN as needed, with on-site duties.

Requirements include completion of an approved ultrasound program, ARDMS or ARRT registered, BLS CPR, and a minimum of 2 years’ diagnostic ultrasound experience. Strong troubleshooting and equipment familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved ultrasound program is required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registered as RVT or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is required.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with ultrasound equipment for evaluation, troubleshooting and quality control.

Job Description

• Education: Completion of an approved ultrasound program required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registry: Licensed by ARDMS or ARRT as either a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and/or as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in diagnostic ultrasound preferred.
• Extensive experience with ultrasound equipment in terms of product evaluation, troubleshooting and quality control required.

Pay Transparency

$37.43 - $58.02

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
