Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic sonography in an academic, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include performing a variety of ultrasound exams (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular), optimizing images, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and documenting studies in PACS/EMR.

You’ll collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians, follow evidence-based protocols, support quality and teaching

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular to assist in diagnosis.
• Optimize image quality and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Document studies in PACS/EMR and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians.
• Follow evidence-based protocols and contribute to teaching and quality initiatives across Vermont and northern New York.
