The incumbent must hold ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials and BLS certification, with 0–3 years of relevant experience. Flexibility to assist in intraoperative ultrasound and maintain strict safety practices is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant ultrasound experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA required.
• Active credential status with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI within specified timelines per facility.
• Must meet credentialing requirements for ACR-accredited or non-ACR departments.
• Possess ability to adapt patient positioning and maneuver equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging for abdomen, pelvis, obstetric, vascular, or other exams.
• Operate sonography equipment independently and ensure image quality.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team on diagnostic information.
• Maintain high disinfection standards and assist with minimally invasive procedures.
