Job summary

Think Ultrasound Technologist performs quality diagnostic medical sonograms to support accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment, under the supervision of a qualified radiologist.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Radiology or related field, completion of a CAAHEP- or AMA-accredited program, general/vascular certifications, BLS, and at least three years of ultrasound experience. Work is in a healthcare setting with patient-centered responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiology or related field required.
• CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or AMA-approved school required.
• General and vascular sonographer certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of three years of Ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform various sonographic procedures for ultrasound diagnosis using pre-determined protocols.
• Prepare room, equipment, contrast media, and supplies for each procedure.
• Explain procedures and provide care for the patient in radiology.
• Obtain clinical information and indication for all sonograms; document history into EHR.
