Qualifications

• Certification in Ultrasound/Sonography is required or eligible based on facility policy.
• Experience with ultrasound exams and imaging protocols preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology as they relate to imaging findings.
• Excellent communication with patients and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams using standard imaging protocols and techniques.
• Explain procedures, position patients, and ensure comfort during exams.
• Capture, optimize, and document high-quality images of required anatomical areas.
• Review images for quality and communicate findings to physicians and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging team members to support patient care.
