Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an Advanced Sonographer to operate ultrasound imaging equipment, support patient care, and uphold imaging standards in a clinical setting.

Proficiently operate imaging tools, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging standards, serve as a lead or expert resource, and assist in training staff. Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams is essential.
Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours, ≥2 years relevant experience, state licensure (if required), and certifications such as ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also needed. In some regions, additional certifications may be required within specified timeframes.
Leadership ability, decision‑making, conflict resolution, knowledge of diagnostic and advanced procedures, attention to detail, excellent communication, adaptability, and understanding of quality standards.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and kneeling.
