Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist or Imaging Team Lead to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in support of patient evaluation and treatment.

The role involves assisting physicians with procedures, producing high-quality images, preparing accurate reports, and managing equipment and supplies across multiple hospital locations within a major healthcare system. ARDMS within one year is preferred, and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of diagnostic or ultrasound experience or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS certification within one year preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with procedures such as biopsies and amniocentesis, ensuring sterile technique and accurate positioning.
• Generating and evaluating high-quality images through automatic processing.
• Communicating clinical information clearly and accurately in reports, maintaining detailed patient examination records.
• Managing supplies and selecting appropriate equipment and technical settings for each patient.
