Job Description

Responsible for performing quality ultrasound and radiologic images on patients for interpretation by a radiologist and/or physician.

Education and Credentials

• Completion of formal radiologic technologist training from an accredited school of radiology.
• Current New York State license.
• ARRT registration or eligibility, registered within one year of hire.
• Certification (ARDMS preferred) in ultrasound for ABD, OB/GYN, Breast, or Vascular within one year.
• Licensed for contrast injection in New York State.
• CPR certification required.

Experience

• One year of experience preferred in general ultrasound.
• Must be able to perform ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages and work independently on any shift.
