Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our New York team in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time, on-site role involves performing transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging.

Travel to satellite clinics in Staten Island and Park Slope Brooklyn is required. Strong communication and EMR skills are essential, with 2+ years in gynecologic fertility imaging preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred.
• Current RDMS or equivalent certification is required to perform diagnostic ultrasound.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in gynecological and fertility sonography is expected.

About the Role

The Ultrasound Technician is a vital role in assessing and tracking reproductive health for patients undergoing fertility treatments. This role conducts precise transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds, obtains detailed diagnostic images, and works closely with physicians to assist in treatment planning. Dedicated to precision and professionalism, the Ultrasound Technician also ensures patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the imaging procedure.

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - New York in Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time, on-site position, working Monday through Friday. Travel to our satellite clinics in Staten Island and Park Slope Brooklyn is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of ultrasound procedures (transvaginal, follicular, OB) to assess reproductive health and guide treatments.
• Analyze images, review patient history, and communicate findings to physicians.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety while explaining procedures and providing emotional support.
• Maintain infection control and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Document results accurately and update patient records in the EMR system.
• Assist in developing ultrasound protocols and training new staff as needed.
• Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education:
  • High school degree (required); Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in gynecological and fertility sonography.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in reproductive anatomy and fertility-related ultrasound techniques.
  • Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with EMR and imaging software.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour ( Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications.)
