RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for its upcoming Financial District location opening in Nov/Dec 2026. You will join a team delivering quality imaging, patient care, and collaboration with radiologists.

You will perform high-quality ultrasound exams, assist with biopsies, monitor patient well-being, and maintain safety and HIPAA compliance while upholding the company's standards.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist diploma completed.
• SPI exam passed.
• Current ARDMS certifications or Registry eligible preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the operation of imaging instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguard medications on site in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

You Will:

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma
• Passed SPI exam
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred
• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $38.00 - $60.00 per hour
