Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to perform a full range of ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure high-quality recordings for interpretation. This role operates on a per diem basis with a variable shift.

Requirements include RDMS/ARRT certification or near-term certification, graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, and a current BCLS.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 1 year from date of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording; the Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Overview

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.00 to $47.51. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
