Job summary

Community Health Network in Kokomo, IN seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires exceptional communication, the ability to work in a team and independently, and proficient use of ultrasound/Doppler equipment; ARDMS certification is required within 24 months if not present.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
• Aptitude toward the team philosophy.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary.
• Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures.
• Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique.
• Meets all computer and documentation competencies.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• License Required: Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)

Call required 1-2 weeknights and every 3rd weekend.
45 minute call response time
