RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams for patient care, working with radiologists and a dedicated team. You will help ensure accurate imaging, safety, and privacy while supporting clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires completing an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, passing the SPI exam, and having BLS certification. ARDMS certification or registry eligibility is preferred, with strict adherence to

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the operation of the instruments that detect and display acoustic information.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems appropriately.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property and patient information on site or on portals.
• Interact professionally with patients and coworkers and respect boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma
• Passed SPI exam
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred
• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
