Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent training.
  • Current ARDMS certification preferred or required depending on specialty.
  • BLS certification required or the ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and quality patient service.
  • Experience in general, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, or other specialty ultrasound applications.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging documentation systems.
  • Prior experience in acute care or hospital-based imaging preferred.

  • Document procedures accurately and maintain complete and timely records.
  • Communicate critical findings or concerns to the appropriate clinical personnel.

  • Participate in equipment care, quality assurance, and departmental workflow as needed.

East Houston Medical Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, anddetail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. In this role, youwill perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations that supportaccurate patient assessment, timely diagnosis, and exceptional clinical care.
