Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for a PRN position. You will provide ultrasound imaging and contribute to compassionate patient care within our clinical setting. The role anticipates roughly 2–3 days of work per month with on-call responsibilities and rotating holiday coverage.

The position requires ARDMS certifications, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of sonography experience, with the potential for invasive ultrasound-guided procedure support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of medical sonography.
• ARDMS certifications required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• At least one year of clinical experience in medical sonography.
• Six months of experience with invasive ultrasound-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing ultrasound imaging while fostering a caring environment.
• Operating imaging equipment within the ultrasound suite to produce quality imaging while following regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
• Performing procedural clinical documentation and entering supply charges.
• Maintaining a quality assurance program according to FDA and ACR regulations.

• At least six months of experience working with a medical doctor in the performance of invasive ultrasound-guided procedures.


• ARRT credentials are beneficial but not required.
