RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for the Barnabas Health Medical Group in Freehold, NJ. This part-time, day-shift role performs diagnostic ultrasound exams, produces high-quality images, and documents findings to support patient care.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited ultrasound program, has RDMS certification, and 1–2 years of experience. You will work with physicians to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program.
• RDMS certification is required.
• 1–2 years of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gross and sectional anatomy.
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment including Duplex Dopplers and Matrix Imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Produce and analyze high-quality ultrasound images for clinical decision-making.
• Enter patient demographics and examination data into reporting systems.
• Assist physicians during minor surgical and interventional procedures when appropriate.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
