Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Ohio is seeking an ultrasound technologist for a full-time, first-shift position. You will perform timely ultrasound exams and provide compassionate patient care while working with a team.

Required ARDMS or ARRT certification and BLS; multiple ARDMS credentials within one year preferred. Associates or Bachelor's in sonography preferred; on-call and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or ARRT certification required or registry eligible.
• Multiple ARDMS credentials within 1 year preferred.
• BLS required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely, quality ultrasound exams independently or with team support.
• Interact positively with diverse patient populations and families.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation; participate in on-call/holiday rotations.
• Assist in other duties and cross-cover in related areas as needed.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be capable of working independently and work well with team members.
• Must be able to perform timely, quality Ultrasound exams.
• Must be able to interact positively with multiple patient populations and their families
• Perform other duties assigned and help in other areas as needed.
• Possible on call and holidays required

Job Qualifications:

• Registry by Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required or ARRT.
• Multiple ARDMS Credentials within 1 year
• BLS required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• One year preferred sonography experience
